Alairac
Alairac is a commune with 1296 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Aude department in the Languedoc- Roussillon region; it belongs to the district of Carcassonne, in the canton of Montréal and the Association of Municipalities Carcassonne Agglo.
Geography
The community Alairac located ten kilometers south-west of Carcassonne in the northeastern foothills of the Massif Malepère. The Autoroute A61 (Toulouse - Narbonne ) touches the north of the parish.
Neighboring communities of Alairac are Caux- et- Sauzens in the north, Lavalette in the east, in the southeast Roullens, Montclar in the south, Villarzel -du -Razès and Montreal in the Southwest and Arzens in the West.
