Albert Oldman

Albert Oldman ( born November 18, 1883 in Mile End, † January 15, 1961 in Upminster ) was a British boxer.

At the Olympics 1908 he took part in the heavyweight competition. He dominated his competition: the first fight he won by Ko in the first minute. After he was able to benefit from a bye in the semifinals, he joined in the final to his compatriot Sydney Evans. This he struck after just two minutes also co

Oldman served in the Royal Horse Guards, and later became a policeman in the City of London Police. In 1910 he emigrated to Ceylon, now Sri Lanka, and also worked there for the police.
