Aleksei Shkotov

Alexei Alexeyevich Schkotow (Russian Алексей Алексеевич Шкотов; born June 22, 1984 in Elektrostal, Russian SFSR ) is a Russian ice hockey player, who was last to 2011 when HK Spartak Moscow in the Kontinental Hockey League contract.

Career

Alexei Schkotow began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at Elemasch Elektrostal. For the first team, he was in the 2001/ 02 season, his debut in the Wysschaja League, the second Russian league, and played in parallel for the second team in the third-class Perwaja league. He was then selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2002 in the second round than a total of 48 players from the St. Louis Blues. First, however, the attacker remained in his native Russia and was in season 2002/ 03 for the HK CSKA Moscow in the Super League on the ice.

The 2003/04 season with the Moncton Wildcats spent Schkotow and Remparts de Quebec in the Canadian Junior Football League QMJHL. For the following season, he joined the farm team of the Blues, the Worcester IceCats of the American Hockey League, but this left again after only 23 events and Chimik Woskressensk joined from the Super League, for whom he played in the next two years as well as from the season 2005/ 06 for its successor team Chimik Moskovskaya Oblast.
