2006–07 Russian Superleague season
The 2006/07 season was the eleventh season of the Super League. The league title secured for the third time the HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk, while Krylia Sovetov Moscow descent into Wysschaja league.

Main Round
Mode
The 19 teams in the Super League first played in a common main round against each other, each team played 54 games season. The 16 best-placed teams qualified for the play- offs then, where the Master was played while the last placed relegation to the second division. For a win within regular time each team received three points with a win in overtime two points with a tie after overtime, there was also a point like a defeat after overtime. For one defeat after regulation time gave no points.
