Alex Brundle

Alex Brundle ( born August 7, 1990 in King's Lynn ) is a British racing driver. His father is the former Formula 1 driver Martin Brundle. He entered 2012 in the GP3 series.

Career

Brundle started his career in motor sports at the age of eight years in karting. In 2006 he moved into the T -Cars - series in which racers aged 14 to 17 sedans were on the road, and was eighth in the overall standings. At the end of the year he makes his first experience in Formula racing in the Formula Palmer Audi Autumn Championship, where he finished on the 21th Place. Brundle started in 2007 in the Formula Palmer Audi regular, finishing in eleventh place overall. He then joined again in the fall championship of Formula Palmer Audi and improved to the eleventh place overall. 2008, the Briton denied another season in the Formula Palmer Audi. With three podium finishes he finished the season in sixth place overall.

2009 saw Brundle in the revived Formula 2 The young gun could not keep up in the new racing series with the top group and was awarded a fifth place as best result 19th in the overall standings. 2010 joined the British in the British Formula 3 championship for the team T-Sport. He could score points only in 7 of 30 races and finished the season in 17th place overall. 2011 Brundle returned to the Formula 2 and completed his second season in the championship. With a second place as best result he was at the end of the season in eighth place overall.

2012 Brundle moved to Carlin in the GP3 Series. With a third place as best result he was 16th in the drivers' standings, while his teammate António Félix da Costa reached the third place. In addition, he participates for Greaves Motorsport in some endurance races in a LMP2 car.
