2012 24 Hours of Le Mans

The 80th 24 -hour Le Mans race, the Grand Prix d' Endurance les 80e 24 Heures du Mans, took place from 16 to 17 June 2012 at the Circuit des 24 Heures. The race was the championship round of the World Endurance Championship in 2012. Was won the race from the Audi R18 e -tron quattro with the drivers Marcel Fässler, André Lotterer and Benoît Treluyer.

Start list

On 2 February 2012, the Automobile Club de l' Ouest published as an organizer, an initial provisional start list with 56 participants plus nine reserve team.

Reserve vehicles

As in previous years, the ACO published to coincide with the first provisional start list and a list of reserve vehicles. Five LMP and GT- four teams were put on the list and were given the opportunity to replace those teams who could not attend for various reasons in the race. The LMP- reservists were allowed to replace only vehicles of LMP1 and LMP2 class as the GT- reservists only GT cars. The Nachrückung was in the order of nomination.
