Alex Carter (Canadian actor)

Alex Carter ( born November 12, 1964 in Toronto; born Alex Apostolopoulos ) is a Canadian actor.

Life and achievements

The Greek -born actor grew up in Toronto. Then he learned the art of acting at The Beverly Hills Playhouse and then returned to Canada. He made his debut in a major role opposite Meg Foster in the Canadian television drama The Secret of Holden House from the year 1988. After several guest appearances on television series, he appeared at the side of Tony Goldwyn, Alan Arkin and Greg Germann Murderous in the television thriller Heat (1993 ) on. In the television thriller Moonshine Highway ( 1996), he played a major role alongside Kyle MacLachlan and Randy Quaid.

The film It Is What It Is (2001 ), in which Carter starred with Stephen Tobolowsky one of the major roles, in 2003 it received three awards from the New York International Independent Film & Video Festival, including Best Motion Picture. In the film drama The Day Reagan What Shot ( 2001) Carter was seen on the side of Richard Crenna and Richard Dreyfuss. In the TV drama The Mystery of the Mermaid (2006) he played a monk, in the married Jessie Sullivan (Kim Basinger ) falls in love.

Carter is married and has three daughters. He lives in Santa Monica.
