Alexandru Mățel

Alexandru Matel ( born October 17, 1989 in Constanţa ) is a Romanian football player. He's since the summer of 2010 at Astra Giurgiu in Liga 1 under contract.

Career

Association

Matel came in 2006 for the first time in the squad his home club Farul Constanta and denied on June 7, 2006, his first game in the highest Romanian league. In the following season, no further use was added. In the summer of 2007 left the club to the second division Delta Tulcea. There, he fought his way to a starting place and played with his team in the 2008/ 09 season for promotion to the Liga 1 with, as brought him back Farul during the winter break. There he was able to secure a place in the team was relegated at the end of the season though. In the House, he remained his club get, but missed the resurgence clear.

In summer 2010 the first division Astra Ploiesti Matel took them under contract. After 28 operations in the 2010/11 season he fell out almost the entire season 2011 /12. In August 2012, he returned to the team.

National

Matel early September 2011 by Victor Piţurcă was appointed to the levy of the Romanian national team for the first time. On September 2, 2011, he arrived in the European Championship qualifier against Luxembourg on its first use. After another game against Belarus in early October, he was almost a year not taken into account, before he returned with the start of the World Cup qualifier in September 2012.
