Amy Macdonald

Amy Elizabeth Macdonald ( born August 25, 1987 in Bishopbriggs, Scotland ) is a British singer- songwriter.

Life

At the age of twelve years began Amy Macdonald - among other things, of the rock band Travis influenced - to play acoustic guitar. As a key experience for her career, she refers to a performance by Pete Doherty in Glasgow:

Together with her band and the orchestra of the Deutsche Radio Philharmonie Saarbrücken Kaiserslautern Amy Macdonald was on October 17, 2010 in the Luxembourg Rockhal in Esch- sur -Alzette a concert in which they played songs from their two previous albums in an orchestral version. On 1 December 2012 Macdonald suffered a breakdown in a hotel in Zurich and was then treated in a Swiss hospital. The remaining tour dates for 2012 have been moved then.

Amy Macdonald was engaged from 2008 to 2012 with the former footballer Steve Lovell. The singer calls himself a great friend of football, appeared at the ceremony of FIFA Awards 2012, sang several times before the internationals Scotland whose unofficial national anthem The Flower of Scotland and is one of the currently most prominent supporters of the Glasgow Rangers. The latter has also addressed it in the songs Pride and The Green and the Blue.
