Anao, Tarlac

Anao is a metropolitan area municipality in the province of Tarlac on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. It has 10,873 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 18 barangays. It is the 5th income class municipalities in the Philippines.

The community Anao is the smallest administrative unit of the province of Tarlac and is located in the northeastern part of the province. It is bordered on the north by the municipality of San Manuel, on the east by Nampicuan, to the south by Ramos, on the west by Paniqui and Moncada. It is located about 34 km north-east of Tarlac City and about 157 km north of the Philippine capital of Manila and can be reached from there via the Mc Arthur Highway.
