La Paz (Tarlac)

La Paz is a metropolitan area municipality in the province of Tarlac on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. It has 60 982 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 21 barangays. It belongs to the second class of income communities in the Philippines.

The municipality of La Paz is located in the eastern part of the province of Tarlac, and borders the province of Nueva Ecija. It is bordered on the north by the municipality of Victoria, to the south by Concepcion, Tarlac City to the west. It lies about 20 km east of Tarlac City and about 144 km north of the Philippine capital of Manila and can be reached from there via the Mc Arthur Highway.
