Bamban (Tarlac)

Bamban is a metropolitan area municipality in the province of Tarlac on the island of Luzon in the Philippines. It has 62 413 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 15 barangays. It belongs to the second class of income communities in the Philippines. It is bordered on the south by the province of Pampanga, to the east by the municipality of Concepcion, on the north by the municipality of Capas and to the west by the province of Zambales. It is located about 26 km south of Tarlac City and about 93 km north- west of the Philippine capital of Manila and can be reached from there via the Mc Arthur Highway.
