André Castro

André Castro (2014)

André Castro Pereira ( born April 2, 1988 in Gondomar ) is a Portuguese football player. He is under contract with FC Porto.

Career

Castro began his career with his hometown club Gondomar SC, from where he moved to the youth department of FC Porto in 1999. There he was brought into the first team in 2008. His debut in the Portuguese top he gave 2 February 2008 against União Leiria, when he came on in the 79th minute for Paulo Assunção. The game ended 4-0 for postage. Another championship game followed. At the end of the season the championship was celebrated.

In the following season, he moved on loan to SC Olhanense, with which he made immediately promoted to the Super League. With number 13 2009/10 the club could compete in the top division. From 2011 until the end of the 2012 season Castro played on loan at Sporting Gijón in the Spanish Primera Division.

For the 2012/13 season he plays again at FC Porto. For the game time 2013/14 Castro was loaned to the Turkish first division club Kasımpaşa Istanbul.
