Angela Colley

Angela Bernadette Colley ( born November 13, 1964 in Serekunda New Jeshwang ) was Tourism and Culture Minister ( Secretary of State for Tourism and Culture) of the West African state of Gambia and is now an ambassador.

Life

Your educational career began in 1971 in Kartung and graduated in 1984 with the Technical High School. In 1988, she went to the Gambia College and after two years it reached the qualification for primary school teaching. She taught two years in Jokadu / North Bank Region on an elementary school before she went again to the Gambia College to achieve a higher qualification. This they reached in 1994 with specialization in English and History. She taught for two years in Kerewan to a secondary school and was then transferred to a school in the Greater Banjul Area. She was transferred to a newly opened school in Jokadu in 1999 and remained there for two years. In 2001, she enrolled at the University of the Gambia and graduated in 2004 as the best female participant from.

After her graduation she got a job as a deputy school principal at an elementary school in Abuko until she was appointed on 31 October 2006 in the Cabinet of President Yahya Jammeh. It replaced Susan Waffa - Ogoo who had taken over the Ministry Commerce, Industry and Trade ( Secretary of State for Trade, Industry and Employment).
