Anshan (Chinese鞍山 市, pinyin Anshan Shì, Saddle Mountain City ') is a prefecture -level city in northeastern China, in Liaoning Province.

Geography

Anshan is located near the city of Shenyang. In 2005, the population was 1,201,927 in downtown, in the administrative area of the prefecture-level city of 3.52 million (2010). The area is 9252 km ². The annual rainfall is 713 mm, the average temperature of 8.5 ° C.

Economy

Anshan is one of the largest industrial centers in China, especially the steel industry here is strong. History

Anshan was founded in 1387 and is secured in the 16th century.
