Arantxa Parra Santonja

Arantxa Parra Santonja ( born November 9, 1982 in Valencia) is a Spanish tennis player.

Career

Parra Santonja began at the age of ten years with the sport of tennis. In 2000, she became a professional player, 2001, she celebrated her first title win.

Her achievements on the WTA tour she scored in double ( single in so far untitled ). She has won six doubles titles, three each on the side of both rural women Lourdes Dominguez Lino and Nuria Llagostera Vives. These eleven tournament victories coming in the singles and nine in doubles on the ITF Women's Circuit.

Her best performance at a Grand Slam singles tournament was reaching the third round of Roland Garros in 2004. In doubles, she stood in 2011 at Wimbledon in the quarterfinals, 2012 in Paris and 2013 in Melbourne she reached the second round respectively.

On April 2, 2012 Parra Santonja achieved with rank 22 in double their previous best in the WTA world rankings. In the individual it was in 2010 for a short time among the top 50, 2011, she fell out of the Top 100; now she's slipped further.
