The MHPArena is a multi-purpose hall in Ludwigsburg in Baden- Württemberg. The resultant on the former Nestle site to Schwieberdinger Street Hall was opened on 1 October 2009 with a concert by the band Scorpions and the Orchestra of the Ludwigsburg Castle Festival. It is designed as a seat arena or combines with seating and standing areas and summarizes 5325-7201 visitors.

Construction and naming

The hall was realized as a PPP project. Construction costs amounted to 21 million euros. 15 million euros contributed to the city, the rest of a group of investors consisting of BAM Germany AG and other companies in the BAM Group.

The hall has a length of 70 meters and a width of 65 meters. During the construction from September 2007 to September 2009 about 1,900 tons of reinforcing steel and 15,000 cubic meters of concrete were used.

After three years of looking for a namesake, signed on August 29, 2012, the city of Ludwigsburg and Mieschke Hofmann und Partner (MHP ), a subsidiary of Porsche, a preliminary agreement for the naming rights. On September 18, 2012, representatives of the city and of MHP in the new name.
