ARIA Music Awards

The ARIA Awards are an annual award of the Australian music industry (Australian Recording Industry Association ) to local musicians. You are the most important music award in Australia.

Background

1987 ARIA Awards were first awarded in 20 categories. In addition to the best performers and works of the past year also participated in the background people (technicians, producers) are excellent. Extra categories exist for different genre and for the best-selling singles / albums. The following year, a Hall of Fame was introduced, special prizes followed.
