Ariane Hingst

Ariane Hingst ( born July 25, 1979 in West Berlin) is a German football player. The defense and midfielder played from 1996 to 2011 in the women's national team.

Career

Club football

Even as a child played Ariane Hingst football. After the D- youth Hingst was not allowed to play with boys on a team. So the then eleven year old jumped unceremoniously an age class and played in the female B youth on. After simplifying internal strife of the coaches moved along with many players to the Berliner SV 92 A short time later, the girls team was disbanded. Hingst was now without a club since. In 1992 she moved to VfB Lichterfelde. Meanwhile Hingst was an integral part of Berlin's selection, but could no longer continue to develop in the field lights.

National

On 27 August 1996 Hingst debuted in the German national team in a match against the Netherlands. In their third match against Iceland she scored her first international goal and was once again successful. To date, this was her only double in National Dress. In 1997 she went to Norway with the national team for the European Championship. In the final against Italy, she completed her only tournament game from the beginning and was the first time European champion.

Profession

Ariane Hingst is a qualified banker, but later graduated from retraining to become a physiotherapist. In Sweden she worked part-time as a physiotherapist hockey team Djurgårdens IF.
