Arild Gilbert Sundgot ( born April 17, 1978 in Ulsteinvik ) is a Norwegian football player. The striker played in his career for IL Hødd and Lillestrøm SK over 300 games in the Tippeligaen. With over 100 goals for Lillestrøm SK he is the best premier league scorer in the club's history.

Career

Sundgot comes from the youth of IL Hødd. In 1995 he made ​​his debut for the club in the Tippeligaen, at the end of the year, however, he went with the team to the second division from. In 1997 he moved back to the first division and joined the Lillestrøm SK. First supplement player under coach Even Pellerud, he succeeded under his successor Arne Erlandsen in the 1998 breakthrough. In parallel, he played in the youth teams of Norway, but came to no senior international use.

In the following years Sundgot belonged within the association regularly among the top scorers of the club, who placed mainly in the upper middle of the league.
