Arild Sundgot

Arild Gilbert Sundgot ( born April 17, 1978 in Ulsteinvik ) is a Norwegian football player. The striker played in his career for IL Hødd and Lillestrøm SK over 300 games in the Tippeligaen. With over 100 goals for Lillestrøm SK he is the best premier league scorer in the club's history.
Career
Sundgot comes from the youth of IL Hødd. In 1995 he made his debut for the club in the Tippeligaen, at the end of the year, however, he went with the team to the second division from. In 1997 he moved back to the first division and joined the Lillestrøm SK. First supplement player under coach Even Pellerud, he succeeded under his successor Arne Erlandsen in the 1998 breakthrough. In parallel, he played in the youth teams of Norway, but came to no senior international use.
In the following years Sundgot belonged within the association regularly among the top scorers of the club, who placed mainly in the upper middle of the league. In the 2004 he also placed himself with 14 goals this season tied with Olivier occean behind scorer Frode Johnsen and Alexander Ødegaard among the top three scorers in the national championship. In mid-October of the following year he scored his 64th Erstligator for the club, so he went with Tom Lund, the previous record holder at LSK same. With eleven goals this season, he finished the season ranked fourth in the scoring charts.
2006 missed Sundgot on the side of Heinz Müller, Robert Koren, Khaled Mouelhi Bjørn Helge Riise and under coach Uwe Rösler only just his first title when he reached the final of the Royal League with the team in 2005 /06. There, an injury not in use, the team lost the match against FC Copenhagen with a goal by Razak Pimpong shortly before the final whistle with a 0-1 defeat. The following year proved to be successful. Although pre-season failed in the quarterfinals of the Royal League against Odense BK in the penalty shootout, he led the club to the end of the 2007 season with ten goals this season for the fourth place in the table. He also scored four goals on the way to the Cup final. 2-0 win against FK Haugesund by a brace of Olivier occean he was first on the bench before he replaced from the 58 minutes Magnus Myklebust.
In the 2009 Sundgot hit double digits again, his eleventh goal of the season was also the same time his hundredth score for LSK in the Tippeligaen. Although Anthony Ujah within the association proceeded him the following year to rank as top scorer, the club extended his contract after the season for another two years.
