Arima

Arima is the name of a small town in Trinidad and Tobago ( Caribbean).

Arima is also the name of the associated boroughs (administrative district ) The Royal Chartered Borough of Arima ( Arima Borough Corporation).

The village is the fourth largest in the country, was established in 1757 by the Capuchins.

Location

Arima is centrally located in the northern part of the island. The capital of Trinidad and Tobago, Port of Spain, is located 26 km to the west.

Sports

In Arima is the Arima Velodrome, a 440 -meter outdoor velodrome of concrete, one of three bicycle lanes on Trinidad.
