Ashlyn Harris

Ashlyn Michelle Harris (born 19 October 1985 in Cocoa Beach, Florida) is an American soccer player. She plays for the 2013 season for the NWSL subscriber Washington Spirit. In addition, she is part of the squad of the U.S. national team.

Career

Clubs

Harris played in their youth for the North Carolina Tar Heels, the team at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2010, she played each half a year for Saint Louis Athletica and the Washington Freedom, 2011, she was part of the champion team of the Western New York Flash. For the season 2012/13 she signed a contract with the Bundesliga club from Duisburg.

In the 2013 season, Harris played in the newly established National Women 's Soccer League, the highest professional league in the U.S. Women's Soccer, Washington Spirit. On 22 August 2013, it moved to Damallsvenskan Club Tyresö FF, where she signed a dated before the loan agreement on 30 November 2013, and then returned to Washington.

National

Harris was youth national team of the United States and at the age of 16 years, part of the World Champion team U-19 World Cup 2002. During the U-19 World Cup 2004 she was captain of the U.S. team, which finished in third place. With the U21 team won the Nordic Cup 2003 in Denmark.
