Austin Rivers

Austin James Rivers ( born August 1, 1992 Santa Monica, California) is an American professional basketball player who is active Hornets at the New Orleans in the NBA. He plays the position of shooting guards. He is the third child of Doc Rivers, himself a former NBA player and current coach of the Los Angeles Clippers.

College

After a very successful athletic high school, he attended Duke University, where he played only one year. On March 26, 2012, he declared his intention to register for the NBA Draft in 2012.

NBA

He was eventually selected 10th place in the first round by the New Orleans Hornets, who had previously been selected in the first place Anthony Davis. He decided, like his father to wear shirt number 25.
