The parliamentary election in Australia in 2004 was held on 9 October 2004. It was the choice for the 41st Australian Parliament. Of the two chambers of parliament, the House of Representatives (lower house ) was completely and partially re-elected to the Senate (upper house).

The ruling since the election of 1996 coalition of the Liberal Party and National Party had clearly won the election and became confirmed in their office. You could even expand their absolute majority of seats yet. Election loser was the opposition Labor Party.
