Bakary Koné

Bakary Koné (born 27 April 1988, in Ouagadougou ) is a football player from the West African nation of Burkina Faso.

He began his career at the CFPTK Abidjan, capital of Ivory Coast and from there came to Burkina Faso to the record champions Etoile Filante Ouagadougou. From there he moved to France in 2006 to EA Guingamp, where he first came into use in the second team. In 2009, he won the French Cup with Guingamp. After five years in Brittany, where he had risen in 2010 from the second to the third tier from and a year later, top-flight club Olympique Lyon signed him.

Koné plays since 2006 for the Burkina Faso national football team, 2010, he was at the African Cup of Nations in Angola in the squad.
