Baras (Rizal)

Baras is a Philippine municipality in the province of Rizal, in the administrative region IV, Calabarzon. It has 32 ​​609 inhabitants ( census May 1, 2010 ) living in 10 barangays. It is classified as the fourth income class municipality in the Philippines and as a partially urbanized.

Baras is located on the northern shores of the largest inland lake in the Philippines, the Laguna de Bay. Your neighboring municipalities are Morong Tanay in the west and the north and east. The topography of the municipality is characterized by the southern foothills of the Central Luzon level.
