Rodriguez (Rizal)

Rodriguez is a Philippine municipality in the province of Rizal, in the administrative region IV, Calabarzon. It has 280 904 inhabitants ( census of 1 May 2010 ) living in 11 barangays. It is classified as a church of the first income class in the Philippines and as a partially urbanized.

Rodriguez is in the north of the province of Rizal, on the border to the capital region Metro Manila and the provinces of Bulacan and Quezon. The topography of the municipality is characterized by the mountain range of the Sierra Madre. Your neighboring municipalities are Quezon City to the west, San Jose del Monte City in the northwest, Norzagaray in the north, Antipolo City and San Mateo in the south and General Nakar in the east.

On the territory of the municipality lies the Pamitinan Protected Landscape, in which the historically significant Pamitinan Cave is located. Another is the Marikina Watershed Forest Reserve.
