Morong (Rizal)

Morong is a Philippine municipality in the province of Rizal, in the administrative region IV, Calabarzon. It has 52 194 inhabitants ( census of 1 May 2010 ), lived in 8 barangays. Classified as a congregation of the second income class in the Philippines and as a partially urbanized.

Morong is located on the northern shores of the largest inland lake in the Philippines, the Laguna de Bay. Your neighboring municipalities are Binangonan in the west, in the north Teresa, Tanay and Baras in the east and Cardona in the southwest. The topography of the municipality is characterized by the southern foothills of the Central Luzon level.
