Barbazan, Haute-Garonne

Barbazan ( okzit.: Barbasan ) is a municipality and a village in the Haute- Garonne of the Région Midi-Pyrénées in the south- west of France. Barbazan is the capital of Canton Barbazan.

Geography

The place, with its 449 inhabitants ( 1 January 2011) about 13 km southwest of Saint- Gaudens at the foot of the Pyrenees.

Spa

1901 the cure was started with the use of a thermal spring. In the village is a 4.2 -hectare park.
