Barend Biesheuvel

Barend Willem Biesheuvel ( born April 5, 1920 in Haarlemmerliede, † April 29 2001 in Haarlem ) was a Dutch politician of the Anti- Revolutionaire Partij (ARP).

The lawyer, who in the Second Chamber of the States General held 1956-1963 and 1967-1973 a mandate was 1963-1967 Dutch Agriculture and Fisheries Minister and Minister for Suriname and the Netherlands Antilles. From 1971 to 1973 he was the Dutch Prime Minister.
