Bell 525 Relentless

The Bell 525 is a helicopter properties under development stage of the US- American manufacturer Bell Helicopter.

History

The Bell 525 " Relentless" was presented at the Heli Expo 2012, this type is to be the largest civilian helicopter from Bell Helicopter. The helicopter is in direct competition with the AgustaWestland AW189 and Eurocopter EC 175 The first flight will take place in 2014, the certification and delivery of the following year.

Construction

The helicopter is to be by means of fly -by-wire, which is supplied by BAE Systems controlled. The cockpit is an ARC Horizon flight deck (Awareness, Reactive, Control) feature and as a Garmin avionics G5000H was provided with touch screen technology. Equipped with a five-petalled main rotor and a four-bladed tail rotor helicopter is powered by two General Electric CT7 - 2F1 engines with FADEC.
