Bésayes lies in the fertile plain of the Isère and the Rhone, 15 km east of Valence and about 8 km south of Bourg -de- Péage (in straight line ).

Population

Bésayes heard with 1122 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) to the mid-sized communities in the department of Drôme. 1962, the population was still 509 in the second half of the 20th century the number of inhabitants increased continuously. The strongest growth was recorded in the late 1970s. The population density is 96 inhab. / Km ², slightly below the national average.
