Bibiana Beglau

Bibiana Beglau (* July 16, 1971 in Braunschweig ) is a German actress.

Life

Bibiana Beglau is the daughter of a customs officer and a nurse. After studying acting at the Academy of Music and Theatre in Hamburg, she worked with, among others, Einar Schleef, Christoph Schlingensief and Falk Richter.

She became known for The Legend of Rita, for which she won at the Berlin Film Festival in 2000 with the Silver Bear for Best Actress, and was nominated for the European Film Award through her ​​starring role in Volker Schlöndorff's film.
