Blake Lewis

Blake Colin Lewis ( born July 21, 1981 in Redmond, Washington) is an American singer-songwriter and beatboxer. In 2007 he took part in the sixth season of American Idol and reached the second place.

Life

Blake Lewis was in Redmond ( Washington) was born on 21 July 1981 as the son of Dallas and Dinah Lewis. He went to the Kenmore Junior High and then on the Inglemoor High School. Early on, he became interested in rap and beatboxing. He has mastered the guitar and piano and percussion and has performed with bands and as a solo artist.

Career

American Idol

Lewis took part in the sixth season of the U.S. talent show American Idol. He reached the final, where he lost to Jordin Sparks.

All sung by Lewis songs were released after the show as Blake Lewis EP on iTunes. The song You Give Love a Bad Name and Time of the Season contained therein could be placed on the Billboard Hot 100.

Lewis participated in the comprehensive 59 concerts American Idols Live! Tour part 2007.

The first solo album by Lewis appeared in December 2007 ADD (Audio Day Dream ). It reached the top ten of the U.S. album charts. The sequel to Heartbreak on Vinyl was released in October 2009 and could not build on the success of the first album with chart space 135.

Your Touch, the first single from his upcoming album Portrait of a Chameleon, released in March 2013., You gained international notoriety by its use in a commercial for Internet Explorer 10 Microsoft.
