Blatné

Blatné (Slovak to 1948 " Šarfia "; German troop Fing, Hungarian Pozsonysárfő - to 1907 Sarfo ) is a municipality in the district of Senec, the westernmost region of Slovakia. It lies at an altitude of 131 meters above sea level in Bratislavský kraj. The administrative headquarters of the Okres in Senec located about six kilometers south of Blatné.

The earliest mention of the town dates back to 1245th Until 1913, several names, but fall back to the same tribe, historically held, including Sarfy, Sarfew, Saarfo and Ssárfia.
