Boiro

Boiro is a municipality, a Parroquia and a place in the province of A Coruña the Autonomous Community of Galicia, in northern Spain. The 19 144 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013) living in an area of 87 km2, 115 kilometers from the administrative capital of A Coruña.

History

In the community Boiro there is a high concentration of testimonies from the megalithic culture. The oldest archaeological ärchäologische located near Barbanza and is dated to 3000 BC.
