Bombon, Camarines Sur

Bombon is a Philippine municipality. It is located in the southeastern part of the island of Luzon in the Bicol region in the province of Camarines Sur about 260 kilometers southeast of Manila and about eight kilometers north of the city of Naga.

It is bordered on the north by the municipality of Calabanga, to the east of the city and municipality of Naga to the Mt.Isarog, to the south by the municipality of Magarao, and to the west by the Bicol River and the borough Libmanan. It is spoken Bikolano, Filipino / Tagalog and English. Bikolano is spoken about 98% and about 1.7 % Tagalog.

The Municipality of Bombon consists of eight barangays. Four of them are urban barangays, while the other four rural barangays are. A large part of the population lives on rice cultivation, but it also be grown sugar cane and corn. Approximately 95 % of the population is of Roman Catholic.
