Buhi, Camarines Sur

Buhi is a Philippine municipality. It is located in the southeastern part of the island of Luzon in the Bicol region in the province of Camarines Sur, about 290 kilometers southeast of Manila.

It is bordered on the west by Iriga City, on the north by the municipality of Sagnay, both located on the south by municipalities of Polangui and Malinao in Albay province and to the east lies the municipality of Tiwi also in Albay province. It is spoken Bikolano, Filipino / Tagalog and English.

The Municipality of Buhi consists of 38 barangays. It is rice, corn coconuts and abaca (Manila hemp) grown it also fish farming is operated. The municipality is situated on the shores of this Buhi Lake at the foot of Iriga volcano.
