Brad Daugherty (poker player)

Brad Daugherty ( born July 5, 1951 in Mountain Grove, Missouri ) is a professional poker player.

Daugherty began in 1969 with the poker, as he was on a high school trip. After high school he worked in the construction industry. After learning of the high money prizes on poker tournaments, 1978, he moved to Reno, Nevada. In 1987, he won his first tournament.

Daugherty received the first prize at the World Series of Poker, which amounted to more than a million dollars, when he won the bracelet in the Main Event in 1991.

Together with Tom McEvoy wrote Daugherty Championship Satellite Strategy and No Limit Texas Hold'em for New Players.

Although Daugherty no longer takes many trips to play poker, he plays on the big tournaments and online. He lives in Las Vegas and has a son.

Daugherty has reached more than $ 1.8 million in tournament winnings.
