Braslovče

Braslovče ( German Fraßlau ) is a municipality in Slovenia, which was part of the Lower Styria until 1918. The 2002 census showed 4933 inhabitants for Braslovče.

History

Braslovče was first mentioned in 1140 for the first time. In the second half of the 14th century, the Counts of Celje Braslovče awarded the disposal of market rights. The parish church, dedicated to Mary's Assumption was first mentioned in 1255.
