Brest Region
The Breszkaja Woblasz (White Russian Брэсцкая вобласць; Russian Брестская область / Brest Oblast ) is a county in the southwest of Belarus ( Belarus). It covers an area of approximately 32,700 km ² and has 1.4629 million inhabitants ( 2004). The Woblasz after its capital Brest ( weißr. Брэст; Russian Брест ) named.
