Brétigny, Oise

Brétigny is a commune of 390 inhabitants ( 1 January 2011 ) in the department of Oise in the Picardie region; it belongs to the district Compiègne and Noyon Canton.

History

Brétigny was the Carolingian period the place where the synods of Quierzy took place because no suitable space was available for church major events in the adjacent royal palace Quierzy.
