Broschütz located in the historic Upper Silesia, about six kilometers north of the parish seat Walce ( rollers ), six kilometers south of the county town of Krapkowice ( Krappitz ) and 29 kilometers south of the Opole voivodship ( Opole ).

Neighboring towns of Broschütz are in the northwest Borek (forest angle), in the north Pietna, northeast Zuzela ( Zuzella ), in the southeast Grocholub, in the south Kramelau ( Kromołów ) and in the southwest Czerniów, a district of Kramelau.

History

Broschütz was first documented in 1228.

In the plebiscite in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921 533 voters voted to remain in Germany and 29 for Poland .. Broschütz remained with the German Reich. 1933 lived 887 inhabitants in the village. On August 18, 1936, the town was renamed in Schober field. 1939, the place had 886 inhabitants. By 1945, the place was in the district of Neustadt OS.

In 1945 the previously German place under Polish administration and renamed Brożec and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950, the city came to Opole Voivodeship. In 1999 the place to re-founded powiat Krapkowicki. On April 4, 2006, in the municipality of rollers, the Broschütz belongs introduced German as a second official language, and on 3 June 2009 was the place in addition to the official German names Broschütz.
