Bruno Eduardo Regufe Alves ( born November 27, 1981 in Póvoa de Varzim ) is usually only briefly mentioned, Bruno Alves, is a Portuguese footballer of Brazilian descent, who is since June 2013 at the Fenerbahce under contract.

Career

He is the son of former football player from Washington Varzim SC and younger brother of gambling at AEK Athens Geraldo. Bruno Alves is a tall (189 cm) defender, who is most often used in its clubs in the center of defense. He was educated in the schools of football FC Porto. Previously, he was hired as a youth player at SC Farense, Vitória Guimarães and to the Greek first division club AEK Athens.

In August 2010, Alves was transferred for a transfer fee in the amount of 22 million Euros from FC Porto to Zenit St. Petersburg.

For the 2013/14 season Alves moved to the Turkish first division club Fenerbahce. He signed a three-year contract until 30 June 2016.

Since 2007, Bruno Alves national player of the Portuguese national football team.
