Buchegg Castle

Buchegg is the name on 1 January 2014 by a large municipality merger in Bucheggberg incurred community. The new municipality belongs to the district Bucheggberg the canton of Solothurn in Switzerland.

The merger includes the former municipalities Aetigkofen, Aetingen, beavers (SO), Brügglen, Gossliwil, Hessigkofen, Küttigkofen, Kyburg, mill village (SO) and Tscheppach. The new community was the BFS -No. 2465

Geography

The municipality is located on the Solothurn Buchegg Bucheggberg and borders both the north west and in the east and southeast by the Canton of Bern. The southern boundary of the municipality is the Limpach.

The neighboring communities of Buchegg are on the north by Leuzigen (BE), in the north- northeast on Lüterkofen- Ichertswil, to the east by Bätterkinden (BE), to the southeast by Limpach (BE), to the south by Unterramsern, in the south-southwest at fairs, on the southwest by Lüterswil - Gächliwil, on the west by Ruti in Buren (BE) and to the northwest by Arch ( BE).
