Bülent Ataman
Bülent Ataman ( born June 19, 1974 in Trabzon ) is a Turkish football goalkeeper.
Career
Ataman started with the club football in the youth from Trabzon Beldespor. In 1994 he rose to the then third division as a professional player. He also managed a little later, to fight for the goalkeeper position.
After his performance shown for Beldespor several teams in the top leagues were aware of him. The then second division Erzurumspor reacted quickest and secured the services of young talent. After just one year with Beşiktaş Istanbul interested in a very big club for Ataman. Thus, the change came tion states in the summer of 1996. His debut at Beşiktaş was very bad and already heralded the end of his time for this club one. In the TSYD Cup game on 18 July 1997 against the Erstrivalen Galatasaray Ataman ran on in the starting lineup. In this game he cashed in the first quarter of Game Galatasaray striker Adrian Ilie within two minutes two goals. In addition, he conceded at the beginning of the second half of a red card. His team finished with 10 men the game and witnessed the 0:6 defeat one of the most bitter defeats in club history. After this game, Ataman was presented as a main responsibility of this bitter defeat. His coach John Toshack put the rest of the season to the other two goalkeeper Marijan Mrmić and Fevzi Tuncay.
During the winter break of the season 1997/98 Ataman left after one and a half years Beşiktaş and moved to second division Düzcespor. In this club he lingered but only until the end of the season and then moved within the league to Göztepe Izmir. Here he reached with his team in his first season, the playoff victory and promotion to the Süper Lig Ataman was during this season behind Ramazan Silin substitute keeper and completed over the entire season seven league games. In this club he delivered himself with the other two goalkeepers Metin Aktas and Murat Yiğiter a battle for the goalkeeper items. While Yiğiter firmly stood fast as the third goalkeeper, Ataman completed twelve league games. Had Aktas with 23 league games, the most league bets. For the new season, a new goalkeeper Michael Petkovic was committed and not extended Ataman lending agreement. For the summer of 2003 he returned to Göztepe and played here most of the time the season as first-choice goalkeeper. Once the club gets into financial difficulties, the club was relegated to the end of the season. As a result, the club disbanded and most players were released.
Ataman then moved up to second division club Vestel Manisaspor. Here, the association sought with the main sponsor Vestel build a strong team and as soon as possible to ascend in the Süper Lig. As a coach you committed Mustafa Denizli. Under this coach Ataman completed in the first season most games. After the season target was missed, Levent Eriş Denizli superseded as head coach. Under this coach, the club finished second division 2004/05 season as runners-up and rose to. Ataman was on board as first-choice goalkeeper in this success. In the Süper Lig, he played the first season as a goalkeeper. In the second Erstligasaison Fevzi Tuncay Manisaspor committed. This goalkeeper is Ataman changed several times from as goalkeeper. Tuncay left after just one season Manisaspor. In the meantime, the third goalkeeper Ufuk Ceylan made developments and sparked Ataman during the season as first-choice goalkeeper from. Since the summer of 2008 the club missed the league, Ataman left after five years Manisaspor.
After his departure from Manisaspor he moved to the neighboring province of club Altay Izmir. Here he remained only half a season and then moved within the league to Kardemir Karabükspor. In his first season he had against the other two goalkeepers Kazim Sari Süleyman and Küçük, and they had five league inserts the fewest inserts. The second season, he fought his way to fast the goalkeeper items. At season's end, he celebrated with his team the championship of the TFF 1 Lig and thus the direct promotion to the Süper Lig After the climb was with Vjekoslav Tomic commits a foreign goalkeeper. This displaced Ataman from goalkeeper items. After Ataman remained as a substitute keeper at the club until the end of the season, he signed on to the end of the season in the second division Karşıyaka SK.
For summer 2012, he then moved to the second TFF Lig to Fethiyespor. Already in the next winter break, he broke up his contract with Fethiyespor and ended his playing career.
