Can Artam

Can Artam (* June 30, 1981 in Istanbul, Turkey) is a Turkish racer. He started in 2005 in the GP2 Series for the iSport team and in 2001 was champion in the U.S. Formula Dodge.

His career began in 1999 with karting. He did this until 2001 when he moved to the Turkish Touring Car Championship. In the same year he went even in the U.S. Formula Dodge in which he became world champion. In 2002 he drove in the TTCC, the FranAm Formula Renault and some races in the Turkish Formula 3, as well as in karting. In 2003 he drove in Formula Renault, as well as some racing in the British Formula 3 and Formula Renault V6 Euro Cup.

On 29 May 2004 he drove for the first time in Formula 3000 in Imola. He was also the first Turkish pilot in this series. At the beginning of the season he drove for Coloni Motorsport and, after seven races for Super Nova Racing. In 2005 he drove in the GP2 Series, the successor series F3000 for the iSport International. As a teammate of Scott Speed ​​, he got two points and reached number 22 in the overall standings. Since 2005, he took part in any championship more.
