Carlos Andrade Souza

Carlos Andrade Souza Carlinhos or shortly ( born January 23, 1987 in Vitória da Conquista, Brazil) is a Brazilian footballer who currently stands at Fluminense FC under contract.

Career

Association

Carlinhos started his professional football career at Santos FC. His contract there would be expired in August 2008, but in June 2008 he extended this for a further three years. After that, he was loaned horizons for six months at Cruzeiro and then for five months on Mirassol FC. In December 2009, he signed a one-year contract with EC Santo André. In May 2010 he moved to Fluminense FC.

National

Carlinhos was appointed for the first time in 2006 by Dunga, the Brazilian national football team for the friendly match against Switzerland, but did not play. After he was no longer appointed for six years in the national team, he was appointed in 2012 by Mano Menezes for the tournament superclásico de las Américas in the team. He made his debut on 21 November 2012 at the finals of superclásico de las Américas, as Brazil won the title.
