Cécile Rigaux

Cécile Rigaux ( born April 20, 1969 in Nogent -sur -Marne ) is a French former beach volleyball player.

Career

Rigaux played her first international tournament in 1996 with Arcadia Berjonneau. The next year, she reached with Marie Tari 33rd at the World Championships in Los Angeles. In 1998, she formed a new duo with Anabelle Prawerman. A year later Rigaux / Prawerman occupied the 17th place at the World Cup in Marseille. Then they reached at the European Championships in Palma the final, which they lost to the Italians Bruschini / Solazzi. In the Olympic tournament 2000, they were ninth after they had won in the first round against the Germans Maike Friedrichsen and Danja Müsch and in the second round of the Australian women Gooley / Manser were inferior. 2010 Rigaux again joined the Marseille Open with Marion Castelli.
