Annamaria Solazzi

Anna Maria Solazzi ( born December 10, 1965 in Ancona ) is a former Italian volleyball player. She was three times European champion and twice took part in the Olympic Games.

Career

Solazzi completed her first international tournament in 1994 and 1995 with Consuelo Turetta. In Atlanta in 1996 she participated in the first Olympic tournament and defeated by the Brazilian Mônica Rodrigues / Adriana Samuel and the Norwegians Berntsen / Hestad.

Subsequently formed Solazzi a solid duo with Laura Bruschini, the same took the bronze medal at the European Championships in Pescara. The following year Bruschini / Solazzi won in Riccione with a victory in the final against their compatriots Daniela Gattelli and Lucilla Perrotta first time the title.
